Frequently asked questions
What is National Housing Fund (NHF)?
The National Housing Fund (NHF) scheme is for Nigerians in all sectors of the economy, particularly those within the low and medium income levels who cannot afford commercial housing loans e.g. civil servants, traders, artisans, commercial drivers etc. Any intending beneficiary must be a registered contributor and up to date with his/her contributions. There are different factors that determine if one can get the loan e.g. Age, Income, etc.
Is NHFCheck same as the NHF or affiliated with the Federal Mortgage Bank?
Please note that NHFCheck is an independent information service made to provide information to support individuals with some of the complexities that often lead to people NOT accessing loans throughout their careers while contributing and having the value of the contribution waste away across years. NHFCheck is NOT associated with the Federal Mortgage Bank of Nigeria (FMBN) or any Primary Mortgage Bank (PMB).
